Handmade in Italy, who wouldn’t want to add these beauties to their shoe collection? And I’m lovin’ that each style is named after hot spots in Melbourne. Maybe future styles could be named after hot spots in Sydney? That’s just me being cheeky.
Annie Habbot, the designer of Habbot studios, also has a cute little blog where she shares her travels to Italy, the language barrier working with the Italians, and her inspirations for her next collection.

Sydney bloggers meetup

Luxurious chocolate and the company of lovely bloggers, was my highlight of the weekend. Thanks to Danimezza and Hello Owl, the hosts who sent me the invite, I had a fun and amazing time at the Nuffnang Sydney Bloggers Meetup.

We enjoyed a vast amount of complimentary cakes, drinks and chocolates at the Lindt Cafe, in Sydneys’ Darling Harbour. We must be lucky, because we even took away a free goodie bag filled with Lindt chocolate delights!

Oh and that’s me wearing the Lindt bunny ears! They’re too cute. And how yummy do those macaroons look?! They were tasty indeed!

Glamour fashion on the bay

As you all know, I regularly feature on their facebook page, displaying their latest styles, and have had the leisure of selecting my favourite styles to keep. I tell you, it’s so hard to choose – I want all their clothing in my wardrobe!

Favourites

Here are some of my favourite looks from the Autumn/Winter 11/12 runways, so far. Trends I particularly think stood out were the bright hues, glamorous fur coats, hats and scarves, sequin detailing, high waist skirts, trousers and belts, and the ever so glorious bold lip palettes.
I must say that I’m especially proud of Sydney, Australia’s Sass & Bide, whose collection showed at London Fashion Week. The colours really jumped out and lit up my eyes! I especially liked the cultural feel, with the feather necklaces and tie die print, colour blocking, bright pink and orange satin fabric, mini skirts, sequin detail and metallic belts.

Afterglow jewellery

Afterglow took out the Debut Accessory Designer award at 2010 Fashion Exposed! Congrats to them!!! Charms Baltis & Ben Neich are the creative duo behind the Australian jewellery label. Their designs are entirely handmade by old world artisans.

Afterglow is stocked in their own store in Milton NSW, online and in exclusive boutiques and galleries throughout Australia.

A. King of the Castle was conjured from medieval Fairytales, its the dark, eery and magical tales that I found intriguing and inspiring. All of my jewellery collections are themed on a very strong story that I write before researching and designing. I think it brings a magnetic appeal to my jewellery. In this winter collection hand carved bangles and pendants have an ancient and mysterious feel to them, crosses, swords and keys all reference my story of knights, princesses and secrets and the elaborate beaded neckpieces that come down to the belly are what my Queen wears in my little tale. Oh yes and the hidden drawers in the heart ring and pendant are just so sweet and conceal a tiny key!

When it comes to quality, I always prefer to buy leather goods because of their durability.
I highly value luxury brands that specialise in leather accessories and have that little bit of an edge to accentuate my outfits.
Luckily I haven’t had to look too far! Estilo Emporio, which stock all over Sydney & Australia, prides itself on it’s European heritage, having originated in Spain, where the family designed and manufactured leather goods.

I absolutely adore their leather accessories, and did I mention their ah-mazing shoes? The brand has evolved immensely in the last 5 years and is now being stocked in 10 David Jones stores.

Farewell

Angelos going away farewell @ The Argyle, The Rocks, Sydney.

Went for drinks at The Argyle on Saturday night to farewell a friend. Was a fun night, and was really impressed by the beautiful venue. Bon Voyage Ang! Hope you have a wonderful time in England!
This denim dress from Glamour Fashion on the Bay is one of my favourites – which I’ve worn here and here. It fits like a glove and is my most flattering dress. I love mixing and matching it with bright coloured bras to add pops of colour into my outfit. This allows me to accessorise and change it up a bit. You might have noticed it with my leopard print bra here.

This was kinda my first ‘night out’ with my newly chopped hair. It’s such a different look to what I’m used to, and I never imagined I’d feel so good with it. Loving this new change and feeling liberated. It inspires me to wear pretty earrings and necklaces with sexy bright lipsticks. I guess with a new home, comes a new look! I’m moving into my new apartment today.
