What is your morning facial routine? Here’s mine!
Hi gorgeous people! So I wanted to share with you my daily morning face routine that I’ve been using for 5 years,
minus the Inivisible Zinc and Cetaphil. Those 2 I’ve been using for the past 6 months. My skin has improved amazingly, in the time I’ve been using all these products. Through trial and error, I have found the skin care products with no fragrance are best.
Thank you to the ladies at The Laser Lounge for sharing their expert tips!
My routine as follows!
Step 1, Cleanse: Wash face with warm water and a face wash with no fragrance and pat dry. I use Dermeze soap free wash, which you can use on your face and body. My body is prone to eczema in some spots, so I have to be careful what I use!
On Sundays, I’ll use my Neutrogena Deep Clean wash. I find that my skin is too sensitive to use face wash everyday.
Step 2, Tone: Blot Witch Hazel, which I use as a toner, onto a makeup pad and wipe all over face. A friend who studied Naturopathy told me to use this 7 years ago, because apparently most toners use this ingredient. It’s $7 to $10 dollars from the pharmacy. I recommended it to a friend who came from India, and was getting pimples on her face due to the new climate. She started using this toner along with Cetaphil Moisturiser, and her pimples slowly disappeared.
Step 3, Moisturise: Use a good amount of Cetaphil moisturiser all over face or any moisturiser which has no fragrance, and is good for sensitive skin. Sometimes it takes experimenting to find the right one for your skin.
Step 4, Apply Sunscreen: Use a good amount of Invisible Zinc tinted moisturiser with SPF 30+ all over face. After a friend told me how her tinted moisturiser with sunscreen acted like a light foundation, I wanted to try it. Stumbled across this aussie brand in Priceline for $32, and haven’t turned back. I love the glow it gives my skin, and the fact that it protects it. It lasts all day which is great, because I used to hate my skin looking dull in the afternoons. Don’t have that problem any more!
Step 5, Apply Make up: I usually do my blush first, because it makes me look so much healthier and awake in the mornings. I’ve been using Clinique for years, and it’s pretty fantastic. Allergy tested and 100% fragrance free. Quite reasonable price of $49 – well worth it. My eyebrows have areas that need to be filled in, and I like the definition the eyebrow pencil gives. I use Clarins, in brown which lasts me a year. It has a comb brush to keep them perfectly shaped. Also it lasts all day! For mascara I find that Dior Show works best on my lashes. It gives them a fullnes and length that looks natural and very pretty. I buy it off strawberrynet.com.au for around $35, free shipping!

>great tips!!! i wish could use those products – i can't find anything suitable for my skin here in italy :///

>Hey ! I´ve been considering whether I should try invisible zinc products since they are pricier than regualr sunscreen, but might give the tinted one a go now the weather seems to be getting warmer. The spf30+ is really important to me so if i can leave my foundation behind during hot days that would be great.
.
Thanks for the tips
>This pose was so helpful Joelyn thanks for sharing !
I must have a look into Dermeze, I too, get flareups and am looking for the best products to help me with that. I've been using "McArthur Natural Products" I saw it on Today Tonight a while ago, I use the soaps and they're great. It's all natural, handmade with Pawpaw extract
I also use Witch Hazel as well, it's so good
I've gotta try out Invisible zinc. This looks good. I tan so easily when I'm under the sun and I don't want to look like a leathery prune when I'm older! I better do something about it now
>I heard that Cetaphil is really good!! maybe i should try some myself. Thanks Joelyne!!
>kcomekarolina: That's a shame! Can you not order anything online?
B: Cetaphil is fab – and lasts for ages!
Diana: Hi Diana, I'm really glad the tips helped you! I really do recommend invisible zinc! I realised I've been using it for more than 6 months. I used it on my trip to Greece in July last year. It really protected my skin!
Chantelle: So glad it was helpful lovely
I might try McArthur Natural Products as a soap in the future. See how it goes. Wow, you use Witch Hazel too?! Yes do try Invis ZInc. You won't turn back!!!
Nancy: You're welcome! Do try it!!!

>I am in love with Sukin organic skincare, covergirl mascara, and benefit blush!
>I use the Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear as well. But before I put that on I use the Invisble Zinc Environmental Protector, after my moisturiser, because I don't like using too much of the daywear, makes me a funny colour! haha
I wish I had been as strict with wearing sun protection everyday when I younger… but I wasn't. tsk tsk
