Make-up is a tool for each individual to portray an artistic and creative display of their best assets and frames those areas of our face that we want to become more enhanced or more flawless in appearance.
Weather just for a natural look, look suitable for work or a more concentrated display for a special evening or themed occasion, make-up always has the ability to give us more confidence to be the best we can be or even to feel more like ourselves rather than the unwanted result of our life’s ageing conditions that have us feeling not so natural sometimes and dosen’t always match up to how old we feel within.
Make-up gives us power and control as individuals to look how we want for any condition and i bet there are even some men out there that only wished it was more accepted for their gender to choose and appreciate the same privalege we are lucky enough to have as woman to help mask the signs of ageing and enhance their musculine and best assets also.
I couldn’t imagine life without it even on those days when i don’t choose to wear it, is amazing to know that i can achieve whatever look i want, when i want to just by applying a little bit of make-up.
Make-up makes me feel glamouous. When I’m feeling down, it always perks me up. When I’m having an ugly day, I just put the slap on and in an instant I’m looking and feeling better. Hmmmm, now to find a man that makes me feel like that lol.
What I love most about make up isn’t that it makes me feel glamorous or beautiful, but that it gives me an opportunity to get into my head and come up with different combinations of colors, looks and styles to try to find an aesthetically pleasing look, and to see what I could look like with different accents of features. It’s like playing dress up–and it’s not permanent so I can still enjoy my fresh face on days when I don’t feel like getting all glammed up.
What I love most about makeup is it’s ability to enhance features but also to transform me into whoever I want to be. Not necessarily “prettier” but if I’m feeling edgy one day I can smoke up my eyes or if I’m feeling glam I can apply red lipstick. It’s fun with color and it allows us to have some artistic control over our looks

So many things. I love that it can transform me from “that daggy mum” to “that lady that looks after herself”, when I’m dropping the kids at school and kinder. (You know the other mums say it, or at the very least, think it!)
I love that my husband’s gaze lingers that little bit longer when I’m made up.
I love how it takes my mood from drab to fab.
I love when I look in the mirror and see that the effort I put in to applying my makeup is worth it.
I love how it makes me feel so feminine. (not easy coming from a European background where facial hair is an issue!
But most of all, I love the range, the ever-increasing choice of transforming and beautifying myself with some wonderful products.

Make-up is an art, what I love about make-up most is the endless possibilities it has to offer. It has the power to make people confident with their natural beauty. It makes us believe what we see in the movies is real sometimes so much so it gives me the creeps, it can transform a persons appearance completely and allows them to embody a entirely different persona, essentially make-up is a mask that doesn’t hide the person but enhance them.
Personally, I love the way make up can, not improve my face, but accentuation the natural features I already have. It’s so much fun!

I don’t wear a lot of makeup for day to day, just a little mascara, some eyeliner pencil on the outer corners and some lippy usually, but then when I do apply full makeup, I love the way people notice how different I look and comment, some even stared open-mouthed, finding it hard to believe it’s the same me, lol. I love it.
The transformation – I can go from blah to ahhhh in 60 seconds!
I love make-up because it takes years off my face and believe me that is so important. On the worst “feeling old and tired” days I can make believe to the world that all is fine and I am on top of the world. I have always used eye make-up and found it is so important to finish your look even if you use the minimal amount.
