Hi pretties! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Sydney weather has been so absolutely crapoula lately, so when George and I saw the glorious sun was out this morning, accompanied by a warm breeze, we knew it was a day that had to be spent at the beach. It was really refreshing!!!
So here’s an outfit I wore to a wedding in the Hunter Valley recently. I thought I’d match my cream dress with sparkly gold shoes & clutch.
Happy Monday Pretties! I love getaways more than anything! Especially when it involves wearing a bikini, hot weather and cooling down in a pool. Here I am at the Mantra Resort in Ettalong on the Central Coast. Only about an hour and a half away from Sydney!

Chatting with Shelley Craft was pretty damn inspiring! We’ve seen her on Saturday Disney, travelling all over the world on The Great Outdoors, and making us laugh on Australia’s Funniest Home Videos – she is so grounded, bubbly and down to earth. You seriously just want to give her a hug, she’s so sweet.
Shelley and her partner, created the must have Aussie Fashion App on the iPhone/iPad - Hanger Nation.
Aprilia and I asked her a few questions about it, and love the fact that it has a store locator and the latest designer lookbooks!
“It’s been a year long challenge! We wanted it to be not just the first fashion app out there, but be one of the first big apps developed in Australia. Hanger Nation is the expression of what I love, something I could do to support & showcase the industry that I love, being Australian Fashion.
You never get to see the behind the scenes action, and being from the behind the scenes world, it’s a really nice thing to share. You can see the garments move, and not just still shots all the time. We will be filming more of this and adding it to our videos section on the website.
Travelling a lot in Australia and interstate, sometimes you can’t often find your favourite stores & I’m usually shopping in a mad hurry, so the store locator in the app was through necessity for me.”

Hi Lovelies! Here’s me playing dress ups again. How hot are these snake print heels? Absolutely comfortable and I have a slight obsession at the moment with anything reptile print, whether it’s croc or snake print.
As you know, I wear a lot of white. Where some girls lean more to black staples, I lean to white!

I always like to wear something classic, sophisticated and gorgeous!
When looking for a dress for these events, as I’ve gotten wiser, I’ve realised it’s much nicer to wear something
a) not too tight
b) the length close to knee length or longer
c) classic
d) not too revealing
Yes, I do dress for myself, but even though I like to look my best, I also like to respect people of all ages. So when it comes to family functions, I now think more about what I wear.
Who doesn’t want their Grandmothers, Aunties, Mother, Sisters, Girlfriends and little neices to like their dress? If I can make everyone happy, and feel gorgeous at the same time, why not? Be smart and sexy ladies, and you’ll be the girl all your friends and fam come to for style advice

Merry Christmas, Happy Hunnukah, and Happy Holidays! Wow, I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by! Is it the same for you? Everyone I speak to had such an eventful year. Full of some crappy things and some absolutely amazing things. That’s life I guess, right? A balance between good and not so good. Our biggest challenge is making the most of life, keeping happy and helping others.
So have you bought all your Chrissie presents yet? I haven’t! Keeping it simple this year. (Edit: Actually since I wrote this, I successfully bought them all!) Last year I went all out with wrapping presents remember? And here are some pics from my Christmas Day in 2010! This blog has come a long way since then, and it’s been so fun! I’ve met so many of you, and we’ve conversed either in person, through comments or through social media like twitter. It has been amazing getting to know a lot of you, and I hope to get to know you more in the New Year 2012!
